A lot of people actually walk around with diabetes, without knowing that they have it.
Sometimes, it gets discovered because they end up at the doctor’s office or in a hospital for other reasons. Sometimes they notice symptoms themselves.
I was just talking to a Skype group member who was diagnosed with diabetes recently. It meant a total change of diet and lifestyle. Now she has to lose weight and only eat slow carbs, lots of vegetables, healthy meat and other good stuff.
Having diabetes might not be such a bad thing – if you’re aware of it and handle it.
